history

Lemmings C.C. was founded in 1980, it's original members being a rag-tag collective of artists and poets (resulting in some of the most finely constructed match reports in the history of the game!).

The name 'Lemmings' came about after the press lambasted the England side after another poor series performance, saying that the team had played 'like lemmings'.

The rest, as they say, is history, and even to this day, the club endeavours to escape living up to it's name and motto “volo non valeo” which roughly translates to willing but unable.

Today we remain a collection of players of differing abilities, but who will welcome any new players, so please do contact us!
